Mr Wilf's Cafe - Pickering

What a delightful find! This café is a charming little spot in Pickering, and it’s impeccably clean. The prices are incredibly reasonable; I felt fortunate to pay what I would normally pay elsewhere. They don’t accept card payments and don’t serve cappuccinos, but don’t let that deter you; they do serve Yorkshire tea, which is a nice touch. The menu offers a solid selection, including breakfast, burgers, and sandwiches. I enjoyed a cream tea, and my only suggestion would be to feature at least one authentic cake, as sometimes nothing hits the spot quite like a slice of cake. Overall, a wonderful experience!

I visited for the first time today, and it was a lovely experience. We ordered two fantastic breakfasts, and the service was excellent; the food was delicious. Although the place was extremely busy, the young staff handled it very well. Unfortunately, there was an unpleasant incident when a woman rudely complained, which seemed to really upset the staff. It’s important to have a bit of understanding, especially in such a bustling café, even for the most seasoned workers. Kudos to the young team for their great work!
