Capplemans Fish Chips - Pickering

After facing difficulty finding a restaurant in Pickering on a chilly and rainy Monday evening, we stumbled upon Capplemans. What a gem! We were quickly served a cold beer, followed by a generous portion of freshly made fish cakes, chips, and mushy peas. My wife ordered the fish pie, which was also delicious and of high quality.

This fish and chips dish was delicious with perfectly cooked, crispy batter and accompanied by friendly service. What more could you ask for?

Absolutely brilliant restaurant. Food (haddock chips with mushy peas) was delicious and freshly cooked to order. Staff were great, really friendly and helpful. Excellent choice of drinks and lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back next time we're in Pickering.

The food at this restaurant is of very good quality, and the gluten-free option was one of the best we have ever had. It is a bustling place, with the door constantly opening and closing, making it a bit drafty on cold nights. Despite this, everyone enjoyed the food. My only complaint would be that the seats could use some cushions. Keep up the good work, guys!

Amazing food, price and service. Hubby had the small fish special which was more than enough I had the fish bites which were amazing. Good big pot of tea. Certainly the best chippie for miles. Can't wait to go back.
