A simple and small chalet-type of place. No fuss !!! Don't drive too fast through the village as you might miss the Creperie. Fresh and hot 'crêpes' made by 'Valerie'.Salty ones and sweet ones. Take your pick. That night we came from Besse et Sainte Anastaise after a delicious and extensive dinner the night before at 'Le Beffroy'. This was just perfect for a change of food. We tasted some 10 real home made Jams (some very funny and unusual), and also crêpes with local cheese (young St. Nectaire) with ham (Jambon d'Auvergne) and decorated (!) with wallnuts. Accompanied by a glass of local beer (the guy who brews it lives in the village .... just try out the 3 different types of beer) You can also drink apple- or pear cider with the pancakes. We exchanged receipes with our neighbours at the other table (also passionate amateur-cooks and lovers of good food). No need there for a dinner-jacket and a bowtie. Just relax. Great for sporty and less sporty people...... of course kids will also love this kind of food. We warmly recommend ! Prices are more than reasonable. Enjoy without any hesitation.
