We found ourselves passing through the garfagnana to come and eat here. beautiful place. very well-kept. the nice owner. and he can sell himself. and sell. portions a little learn. c and who has more and less. If you're prepared not to go. The times are slow. from the order to the arrival of the dishes. coffee and account. to taste slowly. the prices a little high. but super great food

A couple of days immersed in peace ... sometimes even too much peace the place is very nice and the owners very helpful and friendly. recommended for those who want to relax!

Me and my wife and our 3 girls (10,12,15) stayed one week in this beautiful Agriturismo place. It is owned by a family. The daughter Rosita was our contact and she was extremely helpful and kind throughout the stay. We had 2 apartments, which were both fine and well equiped. The pool was clean and very nice. The place is wonderful, we think. In the area there are different things to do: swim or sail on a “bicycle” boat on Lake Gramolazzo; climb in the nearby adventure park; visit some of the beatiful Tuscan Mountain cities (Barga is one af the bigger and very nice, there a plenty of small ones also); visit Lucca and Pisa. If you come in Electric car, there is a fairly fast charger in Gallicano at the Conad Superstore in the parking lot, half an our drive from Il Ristoro.

We were staying nearby and booked lunch here as it was in walking distance and had good reviews. We were very well looked after, a magnificent four course meal with great wine in a lovely location at a very reasonable price. A great host and a relaxing atmosphere. Perfect., thank you.

If you are staying anywhere near this area then you should make a trip to the tucked away mountainside village of Cortia, just outside Piazza al Serchio. Roberto and his charming family will give you the warmest of welcomes and serve you some wonderfully cooked local food. His own wines of which he is justifiably proud and his wife Giovanna's perfectly cooked pasta. If you are fortunate enough to be there when the tagliolini with leeks and smoked pancetta is on the menu it is a joy in it's lightness and flavour.
