AMAZING!! Can’t get more authentic then this generational family owned business. The Crescentini is off the charts ! ALL the pastas are the best and the meat as fresh as could be. Also offers a nice CIGAR area with music and drinks !! Which is a must for me after dinner. The Family is very special people who own this hidden treasure ! Ask them about the local bed and breakfast up the hill from them, great place to stay when having dinner here. A MUST ON ANY VISIT TO BOLOGNA. SAY ALDO SENT YOU!! Let FABRIZIO know!! I go 2-3 times PER YEAR literally for the last approx 10 years , 1st visit was back in 2004.

It would be very hard to find a more authentic, historical, or culturally finer restaurant in or around the countryside of Bologna. I have eaten here many times, too many times to count. Love it !!!! like being home.... Ric Ciappa N.J., USA.

Fantastic typical Italian family restaurant with 100 years old reckeps. It also houses the BOTTEGINO Cigar Club and the only Cigar Smoking Lounge in 150km radius! If you like cigars and good food, then this is a must to visit place. Nice hotel nearby.

Fabrizio is the best host I have experienced in many years. The food was an unforgettable experience. Would like to return!
