While we only wanted a drink, we thought it best to order a snack from the menu too! They had a live singer, and the service was good. It would have been nice to have visited in a more formal manor, but we didn't have time to go back.
The restaurant has a beautiful view. And that’s about it. The food was below average, and the live band that played was too loud, we couldn’t hear each other. The road to get there wasn’t worth the trouble.
Wow. The view was to die for and our food was great. It is not unusual for restaurants with an amazing view to have good food but not Michelin quality food. Some people have mentioned long table wait times: I think that's only a possibility in the high season. Other negatives said loud music: there was no music. There was a perfectly contemporary song list that we loved. The servers were good. Not a single complaint and lots of smiles even when we asked them to take multiple photos. We ordered all Thai food And I have eaten in Thailand for 4 years and I thought the food was but the food was really good. Perhaps other people just got unlucky with a few of the few of the western menu items they chose. Anyways thank you for the special sunset restaurant evening looking over the hills and Kata Noi, Kata, and Karon beaches. Truly will never forget.
This place has so much potential but the vibe was so strange when we were there and the food and drinks were below average.
Menu was rather limited and Thai food we tried were fine but not fantastic. You would only go there for the view. Note that the place is not well signed posted and we completely miss the turning and had to take anor 30 mins to turn back. By the time we got there, it was pitch dark and we miss the sunset which would be the only reason to be there. Right next to the Karon Viewpoint so can visit if you are in the area. There were only 2 tables occupied on a weekday night.
