The Pepper Tree - Phu Quoc

This restaurant is a hidden gem if you are looking for a fantastic culinary experience. The frozen nougat dessert was exceptional and one of the most unique desserts I have ever tried. The presentation was also fantastic. We also ordered the deconstructed Papaya salad, mushroom cake, and rice gnocchi. My favorites were the Papaya salad and dessert, but everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We were a party of two and shared two appetizers, one entree, and one dessert, and we were very full. Next time, I would opt to share one of each in the hopes of saving room for a second dessert. The service was excellent, so be sure to make a reservation in advance. The ambiance is upscale, so feel free to dress up a bit. I can't wait to return again soon!

Dining at Peppertree is truly wonderful. The service is outstanding and there are plenty of vegan options to choose from. We enjoyed our experience so much that we visited twice during our holiday. I highly recommend it.

This incredible restaurant offers stunning views of the sea, lovely decor, and attentive staff who speak fluent English and are knowledgeable about vegan options. The menu clearly marks vegan choices and on Sundays they offer a 6-course vegan meal. They provided us with multiple menus with great vegan options to choose from. Prices are higher compared to other restaurants in Vietnam, but are reasonable for the quality and service. We had two cocktails and a 3-course meal, which would have cost three times as much in a western country. Booking was easy and the restaurant was not overcrowded. Highly recommended!

Some vegan options available and they all sound great. when we sat down, they brought us brot with butter, but immediately it switched on olive oil and balsamikum when I said I am vegan. I had tomatentare for the starter and ate mushroom/veggie gnocchi for the main course. I would say they were pretty tasty! the service was top-notch.

The food was simply amazing, you have a good amount of vegan options on the menu and they are all marked as vegan so you don’t have to ask. If you’re there you HAVE to try the rice gnocchi, incredible. As we stayed at the hotel we ate a couple times in the restaurant. I wouldn’t recommend the set 5 course menu as it’s very expensive and I didn’t found it that amazing, go with à la carte and you won’t be disappointed. The restaurant manager was super nice and helpful, fulfilled all of our wishes without any hesitation. It’s obviously a little pricier than a regular restaurant but it’s totally worth it for a special evening. They were so kind that the restaurant manager, Till, prepared a 3 course menu for our family. It was sooo good omg, especially the chickpea cakes!!! Really loved my experience there and can’t wait to come back one day.
