Tonala Mexican In Elk Pla

This place has some absolutely delicious food. I've had their pork carnitas twice and the first time I had it it was the absolute best pork carnitas I've ever had juicy large portions and delicious, the second time I had it the flavor was still great but it was so dry and crispy it was like it had been under a light for a while. The third time I went which is what this review is coming from I had their molcajete and I will tell you right now it's the absolute best molcajete I have absolutely ever had ever. I had the combination with the chicken beef and the shrimp. They also make some excellent horchata they have really good fresh chips and salsa and a pretty friendly staff all in all this is a great place if you're in the area and you want some authentic Mexican food

We are greeted so nicely here. They know what we drink because we come in so often. as they seat us, someone is bringing our drinks. We have been going here for years.

This is our favorite local Mexican food joint. The food is always full of flavor and hot. My wife and I go here 2-3 times per month for either lunch or dinner. Highly recommend!!!!

Went here for a girls' brunch because one of them knows the owner. Their food was super yummy, I got the camaróns la crema.

It was my daughters 40th birthday party. She loves Mexican food. Tonala has the best platters. We devoured all of it. Yummy!!!
