Yogis Grill Teriyaki Roll - Phoenix

My family and I came to this restaurant to have a meal, and my wife loves shrimp. We asked if they could create a shrimp teriyaki dish for her, even though it was not on the menu. The waiter went to speak to the chef, David, who came out and took our order. He said he would personally make the dish in the kitchen. The price was not much more than we had expected to spend, and it truly made my wife's night. This restaurant was already a favorite of ours, but they exceeded our expectations today.

The chicken katsu dish was tasty but slightly overcooked, with the panko coating being a bit charred. The teriyaki sauce was delicious, though, and the rice was perfectly cooked. The steamed vegetables were cooked to perfection, tender with a slight crunch and bursting with flavor. The service and atmosphere were top-notch, with a friendly and knowledgeable server named Chelsie providing great recommendations. The restaurant was clean and inviting, with plenty of natural light and a comfortable temperature. The location is convenient, near shopping centers, a bowling alley, and a light rail stop. Overall, a great spot for a quick and delicious meal.

I recently spent $30 on a roll, a salad, and gyoza at this restaurant and I am very disappointed. I ordered a Philadelphia roll but was charged for it and received a California roll instead. Due to being late, I didn't have time to wait for another roll and ended up with a side of hard cheese that tasted rancid and disgusting. The $10 salad was all wilted and brown. The only decent part of my meal was the gyoza, but overall, the experience was so poor that I believe this restaurant should be closed.

I was late, so I had no time to wait for another and got a side of hard cheese. it had flats up and when I tasted a little in it it rancid and disgusting. old even. I threw it out. the $10 salad was brown salate. all. wilted brown salat. I admit that the gyoza was good. the rest was so bad that I am upset. should be closed.

OMG!!! The California roll tempura here is my absolute favorite. It's a must try if you like sushi. I will post more once I try more food. For now, it's just this roll for now. Have a rolling day.
