Willie's Taco Joint - Phoenix

This place is perfect for a bite to eat after a game or a show. The staff is extremely friendly, especially given the number of drunken patrons that come in, and the atmosphere is relaxed with a bit of an edgy vibe. I give it top marks for that!

The atmosphere was fantastic. I visited on a non-game day and enjoyed a wonderful lunch away from the heat. Be sure to try the nachos—you won't regret it!

This is my second visit, and the food is definitely impressive. It can be a bit chaotic when it comes to ordering and finding a place to sit, but the homemade salsas more than make up for it. I tried the rolled chicken tacos and elote.

Stopped in for a quick lunch during convention events. This place will fill up quickly and space is limited during convention event lunch breaks. Food is cooked fresh and will also take about 20 minutes to be made if it?s busy. Ordered carne asada taco, shrimp taco and Elote. All of it was delicious and tasted great. The ambience of the restaurant is great as well. All of the staff was very friendly and attentive. Definitely will come back when I?m in the area and need something to eat!

This was a good stop! We were downtown for a concert and this was a great spot to eat before the show! Everything was very good! The tacos were exceptional! The guacamole was a bit disappointing. The prices are high for what it is and what you get. I would like to see the food priced just a hair more competitively, and add some more salt and lime to the guacamole. Wait times are also a concern if you are in a hurry. We were not, but if we were this would be a bad place to stop. All in all, it?s a good find! We will probably be back at some point for more tacos!
