We came in at the end of a lunch rush and once they caught up, we had fantastic service. The menu has plenty of salad variations, burger variations, and sandwiches. Very impressed. Loved the fit and finish of the menus and the restaurant. Love the common area for the bathroom. The rustic and cozy charm feels very nice. The drink menu was also equally impressive for their cocktail options. Every plate was a moderate to large portion and perfect for feeding growing boys. We had: queso blanco, garlic Parm fries , Caesar salad , salmon burger , Mac n cheese , and kids chicken tenders . The fries were perfect for sharing. The salad was in a cool slanty bowl. The kids chicken tenders were actually a top notch tender. I had TWO watermelon palomas. OMG super tasty and not a waste of money. The perfect amount of tequila to taste. I hate that this place is 30 min away from my house!!! The gentleman that we worked with, ended up having fantastic conversation and was very fun to chat with. The food tasted and looked fresh and not mass production. I'm still thinking about the tomato on my burger and how amazing it was. We'll be back.Vegetarian options: ImpressiveKid-friendliness: Family friendlyParking: Easy to get in and out. Plenty of space at 1pm
My first time here and I really had a hard time deciding what to order because EVERYTHING LOOKS SO DELICIOUS! I settled on the Bistro burger (with the creamiest goat cheese and the tastiest bun ever and the delish onion rings. My table mates had the salmon burger (two thumbs up! and the sliders and queso dip (more, please! Kaiden and Kristian gave us stellar service and even laughed at my uncle's bad dad-jokes. They were very attentive to when we needed refills or extra napkins or when we needed to be checked in on. They are super professional yet keep a great laid-back vibe rolling. Definitely try the homemade cakes! We got the pumpkin cake (made with ricotta YUMMMM!!! I'll definitely be back, if only to try the poke app!!!!
Horrible experience today!! Four of us that were the first patrons there and it took 40 minutes for a salad and burger to come out. My friends burger came out wrong three different times, and the fourth with burnt mushrooms. My order which was just a burger patty well done with American cheese, came out super pink and 50 minutes late, therefore no lunch for me. Also, saw the cook sitting on counter wiping his face and eye, then proceeded to chat and play music in the kitchen. My company that I work for orders from Tru a lot for admin meetings and it's big orders. We'll see if anymore.??
The one thing that makes an ok craft burger good is having great craft fries to go with it. The fries here miss the mark. I 've had better fries from the frozen section at the grocery store. The burger was ok, cooked as ordered, but needs salt and pepper when cooking it. Adding it after the burger is dressed doesn 't help the flavor of the meat. The bun was dry, parts off the bacon were hard, like it had been sitting out and gotten dry, the iceburg lettuce was bitter and took over a couple of bites before I removed it, and the tomatoes fell apart and we 're falling off the burger.Service was good although I had to go find our server so we could get our check. And an extra star for good fried pickle spears and not pickle chips.I think I heard about Tru Burger from an influencer. With so many options out there, only a few upgrades would make this a place to return to. But not as is.
There were five of us, 2nd time here, the service was even worse this time, horrible, waited over 25 mins to get a burger and fries, and we were one of the first people through the door at opening. Now they screwed up the bill, and a Manger now has to get involved. Now we just found out the guy waiting on us was the manager, wow, just wow! Horrible place, do not waste your time coming here.
