Romano's Macaroni Grill Desert Ridge

Great food and service even short staffed. Manager was doing the cooking and one wait staff available. They did a great job! Food was hot and flavorful. Salads were fresh and taste. Server really worked at getting food out and being spot on. Bread is outstanding! Great job! Will be back!

Our server Ross acted like we were bothering him for things when we asked for a napkin from him spilling a drink. He didn’t ask if we wanted dessert. Just wasn’t a friendly outgoing person

Made reservation on Open Table. Was greeted with a smile and taken to our table quickly. Server was nice and professional.

The food at this restaurant was superior to Olive Garden, but not as exceptional as a more genuine Italian dining experience. The decor reminded me of a Macaroni Grill I visited around 20 years ago and could use a modern update. The service was excellent, with a friendly and attentive server who got everything right and served us promptly. While I may return in the future, I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here again. It was good, but not particularly thrilling. Surprisingly, it exceeded my expectations as I was anticipating a less impressive experience.

We eat at Macaroni Grill a lot and generally have a great experience. This last time the prices had increased (food and drink), the rice dish served with the entrees had changed and was not as good as the previous one, and our server (Sydnee) did not seem to be in a very festive mood. She really did not seem to be interested in us. After our meal (2 couples) I asked her to give us 2 separate checks and she said no problem and to let her know if anything was incorrect. We got a total of three incorrect checks before she finally delivered our correct check. When she brought the third attempt, she stated let me read it to you... , implying that the previous incorrect attempts were somehow my fault. This third attempt was completely wrong and included everything for all four of us. We will return because this one experience was inconsistent with our previous visits and hopefully we will get a different server.
