Pei Wei Asian Diner - Phoenix

I was disappointed by my recent experience at this restaurant. I ordered the Mongolian Beef with cauliflower fried rice, but the first time it came out it was served with regular rice instead. The second order was a poorly executed cauliflower mash. The crab puffs were still delicious, but now they are served with sauce packets. The food was served in take-home containers without lids, and the booths were not clean. Despite these issues, the Chicken Lo Mein and Broccoli Beef dishes were decent, although some frozen vegetables may have been used in the lo mein. Unfortunately, I did not get to try the broccoli beef as my husband was hungry. The pictures included show the food after it was partially eaten, with the 'cauliflower fried rice' lacking substance. Overall, my experience was underwhelming and not up to par with previous visits.

This restaurant should permanently close its doors and apologize to their previous customers for no longer making any effort to serve quality or edible food. The parking lot is empty and the employees are disinterested, often found on their phones instead of working. The food, such as burnt pork egg rolls and wilted lettuce, is of poor quality. It's a shame that Pei Wei's name is associated with this establishment.

Today, we made use of the online exclusive offer to purchase one main course and receive another one for free. The restaurant was peaceful and not crowded, and we appreciated the music playing in the background. The food here is consistently delicious and delightful.

Update 9/22 nothing has changed here and the corporate contact that this guy copied and pastes doesn?t work!! Shocker there. ??-Welcome to your single serving life. To start this place took away the soy sauce bottles the mustard jars and the relish jars, replace it with this plastic pouches that are hard to open and just plain wasteful. Also you spend $15 on a dish and I?m eating it out of a plastic bowl and silverware like it?s Covid 2020 style. The food is good and the only reason I come here but this place is ridiculously ran. No I don?t need a ridiculous excuse of a response or go to the website. You should be ashamed.

Walked in ignored had to ask if they were open parking lot empty as well. Ordered 3 meals pork egg rolls. Egg rolls were burnt food was marginal at best was charged $60.27 called next day was told manager would call back Never called me . I called 3 more times I had to contact my bank was over charged in excess of $20 never again will I eat there.
