Meritage an Urban Tavern at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa

I was at the JW for a conference and a vendor dinner was held hereThe ambiance was quite niceA nice cool breeze for the night.

The place: it is located at the JW Marriot resort and SPAIt has outdoor and indoor seatingInside it is very spacious and nicely decorated.

I arrived first, around 4:30, and waited a bit for my husband to come and meet up with meThis place is large with a concrete floor.

Plan a last minute business lunch after reviewing the online reviews. We were not disappointed. From the provolenta (I think that was the name) and filled prawn appetizers to the delicious fillet and the spread for the rolls, our food was delicious. The owner was behind the bar and was very accommodating. I will definitely come back on my next visit to the area.

The steak was amazing. One of the best I've ever had. Service was a little slow, but it was worth the wait. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It was a pleasure
