Mary Coyle Ol' Fashion Ice Cream

Mary Cole, coming from a traditional ice cream shop in California. I was a little disappointed. My co-workers spoke highly of Mary Cole. Again, it wasn't bad it just was not what I was looking for in a traditional ice cream shop. Flavors was very little. I had a banana split with orange and pineapple sherbet. It was a hint of orange and pineapple flavor.

This location was a little hard to find and get to but worth the wait and trouble. Great ice cream and awesome service. My family had been planning to visit for a month as a reward for a family contest. It didn't disappoint.

The decor leaves something to be desired, especially considering its prime location. I stopped by for a milkshake, which was really good. I'll definitely return, but I don't see myself spending much time there. The place could be much more inviting if they added a theme or some sort of atmosphere. It's right next to Lenny’s Burger.

On April 3, 2023, their website stated they close at 9 PM. However, when we arrived around 7:40, two employees—one male and one female—told us they were already closed. We traveled all the way from Peoria specifically for the old-fashioned ice, so this was very disappointing!
