Excellent tacos and reasonable price. We ordered 5 tacos and 2 drinks and only cost $22.5. Highly recommended lengua (tender and juicy, also flavorful) and chicharrón (crispy, got a little chew to it). Tripa is a bit too dry for my taste.Kid-friendliness: Lots of family with kids. Very friendly environment.

After the loss of the World Series I needed good food to recover from the loss. I was looking for food that would make my soul whole once again. The atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. Even though at first sight it seemed sketch. I ordered 2 Carne Asada tacos and 2 barbacoa tacos. But they had so many more options. My husband got 4 carne asada tacos and my kid got a big flour quesadilla with shredded beef. WE ATE ALL OF IT!Now that we know they are there, La Frontera 1 will become a staple stop every time we are nearby.

The food is amazing and served with love. You can stop by at anytime of day or night: there will be satisfied customers dining outside.

I absolutely love the food here! Nine times out of ten, it's fantastic. However, during my last visit, I ordered the tripas, which are often difficult to prepare correctly. Unfortunately, this time they were overcooked. I don't think this is typical, though, so I wouldn't give them anything less than five stars because the rest of the menu is excellent.

On my first visit, I tried the Carne Asada Tacos, which were excellent, and the Chorizo Con Crema tacos, that were rich and delicious. However, my absolute favorite came the next day when I had the Cabeza Burrito. Oh my goodness, it was the best burrito I’ve had in a long time—perhaps ever. I’ve traveled all over the country and visited every major city with a Mexican district, but this burrito was something special. The meat was stewed to perfection, seasoned beautifully, and perfectly balanced with spice and richness, especially enhanced by a squeeze of fresh lime. The melted cheese added creaminess, and the layers of flavor were simply astounding. It honestly felt like a divine experience as I savored each bite. The salsa verde was fantastic, complementing the burrito perfectly, especially with the refreshing cucumbers on the side. I noticed the lovely señora watching me from the window, and I gave her a thumbs up, letting her know just how good it was. She responded with a sweet thank you. She truly understands the magic of this place. Thank you so much, La Frontera!
