Gordon Biersch Brewery - Phoenix

The service was a bit slow, but the food arrived fairly quickly after placing our order. The atmosphere was lovely, and there was a great selection of house-brewed beers. My main complaint was that the food was quite salty, though it may have just been the dish I chose. In the photo is the Cajun Pasta; I had already started eating before I remembered to take a picture—sorry about that! Update: I found the dish too salty to enjoy after just a few bites, so I let the waitress know. She was very accommodating and replaced my meal, and the new dishes were much better.

We visited this restaurant for a birthday dinner and it was our first time there. Our server, Melody, was outstanding; she was very knowledgeable about the beer menu and incredibly helpful. We ordered the fish and chips as well as the ribeye, and both dishes were delicious with generous portions. Overall, it’s a fantastic place with a wonderful staff.

The beer here is exceptional. The food is consistently delicious and flavorful. The service is top-notch, making it a fantastic spot for enjoying beer at a premium level. They don't offer any fruity beers; instead, you’ll find only brews that adhere to traditional brewing methods of the highest quality.

Great food, great service, great experience. Prices are comparable to other Westgate restaurants. I think one of the things I appreciate most (and maybe think the underestimated) about Gordon Biersch is the hostess welcomes your party by keeping the door open. Gordon Biersch has a finer dining room experience feeling/atmosphere without being lifted and stylish for jeans and a shirt. Not for the first time I'm here and I won't be my last. You have a simple but complete menu that offers something for everyone. In addition, they have a long list of beers and wines to enjoy. During this visit I ordered the Wagyu Cheeseburger and Garlic Fries. I forgot how great their garlic fries are! Some might say they're too strong, but I think they're perfect. The Wagyu Cheeseburger came out better than expected. I felt it was more tasteful than the average Cheeseburger and the Burgerpatty itself almost melted in your mouth. To round it off, there is a crisp butterbunk where it is served a good overall structure. Our server was also great. Very attentive and awaits our needs by asking more beverage refills and other condiments before we ever had to ask. Very appreciated. A great experience that reminds me of what a great place Gordon Biersch is and asks me why I wasn't back more often.

Good food and drinks. Update: Went back again had a chance to try more of their food and beer and really enjoyed it. Great selection of both food beer. Nice friendly bartenders.
