El Norteno - Phoenix

The food at this restaurant was incredibly delicious and also very affordable. The line may seem long because they only take one order at a time, but it moves quickly. Their menu is very detailed and they have a shaded area where you can eat or wait for your food. I ordered the number 8 enchilada style and it was very filling. The food had a great taste and you can easily share a meal because the portions are so generous. I highly recommend trying this place out as they have something for everyone.

The restaurant El Norteno offers a delicious Mexican pizza that is perfect for a quick and satisfying meal. Located on 7th Avenue and I-10, it can easily feed four adults without any issues. When in downtown Phoenix, be sure to give this Mexican restaurant a try as they also serve other delicious traditional Mexican dishes.

Ever since my girlfriend has introduced me to this place I can?t get enough. She has been coming here since she was a child and says it has remained the same. Food is super good here. Really good service. The lady is super funny. The burrito enchilada style is my go to.

Everything at this restaurant is fantastic. I highly recommend trying their taco salad, especially on Tuesdays when it is the special. It's strange that their taco special is actually on Wednesdays instead of Tuesdays though. Just a heads up, this place only accepts cash.

The place is exactly as it appears, simple food, done to near perfection. Everything is made on site and fresh to order. They have a system down. Cash Only, but you can call ahead. Basic food, now flashy menu options and no frills, but it is super consistent. Don't let the location throw you, this food is right.
