Desert Island Eatery - Phoenix

I had an amazing dining experience at Desert Island Eatery in Phoenix! This hidden gem stole my heart with their delicious dishes. The J Chicken over red bean and rice with cabbage and the Ox Tail over rice and cabbage were both exceptional. The cozy ambiance and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The flavors of the Caribbean in the J Chicken were perfect, and the Ox Tail was a meat lover's dream. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation of each dish was impressive. The prices were reasonable for the high quality of food. If you're in Phoenix, I highly recommend visiting Desert Island Eatery for an unforgettable culinary adventure. I can't wait to go back!

What an amazing find. My wife enjoyed a vegan option. And I had the j chicken. The johnnycakes were incredible. Super good food. Wish I knew about it sooner

This was the most amazing food i 've ever had in my life. Try it, you won 't be disappointed. And no excuses with 'but I don 't like spicy food '. If you can scarf down a bag of hot cheetos, you can try this amazing cuisine.

Sorry wish I had pictures but everything was so great I couldn't stop to take any. This was my first time going there and I'm pregnant so we got a little of everything by the way we are Vegan. Everything was sooo gooooddd and will definitely be going back. We had the Jerk Tofu plate, Curry Chickpeas plate, Johnny cakes, Jamaican cabbage patties (thanks by the way? . Potato Salad, Mac and Cheese, and Plaintains. My only regret is that I got should have bought a medium instead of small Potato Salad....it was so good, I wanted more lol. Better to order take out. There are tables outside, but everything is packaged up to go. The food is excellent. I tried the Sea Moss and it was tasty. Family owned and run. Will definitely come back.
