Chanpen Thai Cuisine - Phoenix

As advertised. This place is as authentic as it gets and very fairly priced. The pictures don't do it justice. If you are on the fence about getting Thai food today please don't make the mistake of passing it up. You won't be disappointed. Pictured is thepad Thai, complimentary soup, and yellow curry.

Don't underestimate this restaurant based on its appearance. There are 2 locations, one in a regular storefront and the other on Broadway which may look a bit worn down. We visited the Broadway location and ordered the fresh shrimp rolls, coconut shrimp, and chicken shrimp pad Thai. Everything was delicious and the service was great. The Thai milk tea was one of the best I've had. Even though we don't live in Phoenix, we will definitely return when we visit again.

The food at this restaurant was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy and unpretentious (not suitable for snobbish individuals). It's recommended to order takeout because the seating is limited. Luckily, we were able to find a seat after work on a weekday. We enjoyed the curry puff special, crab puffs, yellow curry with chicken, pineapple red curry, and ice cream. All the dishes had the perfect level of spiciness, were fresh, served promptly, and piping hot. Our only complaint is that the restaurant is not located next to our apartment.

We recently tried the Thai food at Chanpen Thai in the Phoenix valley and it was absolutely delicious! We ordered the pineapple red curry and pork fried rice, and were pleasantly surprised with complimentary fried bananas. Since then, my husband and I have visited Chanpen Thai multiple times and believe it is the best Thai restaurant in the area. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Today, the cashier even gave me a bottle of water because of the heat. We love this place!

Since moving from Seattle I have been looking for some excellent Thai food for over a year. This is now my go-to place with amazing, fresh, and authentic flavors that I haven 't had in over a year. I did a call in order for carryout and I was greetedby amazing service on the phone. After making my way there, my order was ready and I was again amazed by the great customerservice right when I walked in. I felt as if I was already a regular customer and they had known me for a long time. The foodwas spiced perfectly and the fresh vegetables complemented the dishes. I 'm just mad that it took me so long to find this gem ofa restaurant with great employees! If you 're looking for great Thai food, what are you waiting for!?!
