True Food Kitchen - Phoenix

Everything was good, the menu options as my guest was hungry having flown 5 hours and I was looking for a appetizer size plate. Drinks snd food arrived quickly but they had messed up one of the plates with some very spicy flakes garnishment which were not listed on the menu, when I mentioned it they replaced it. Unfortunately the spicy flakes messed with my appetite so was not able to finish the plate.

I have gone to True Food for many years. Most often, I go for business lunches, but the last two visits have been over dinner. On both occasions my order was done wrong, not once but twice, the protein was overcooked, my asparagus was drenched in oil and salt, and most concerning, the the lettuce looked really unclean, so I lifted the top piece up and a bug was in the piece below! I don't know what has happened to the standards and service at the restaurant, but at this point, I will not go back unless someone specifically requests it for a business meal.

The turkey burger which has been a staple in our repeat take outs was dry and tough and not tasty and seemed to be a totally different burger than the one we have ordered before both my husband and I had the same impression and experience more than once recently I called the manager who said they would get back to me but no one has. True Food has always been a favorite! hope they get that figured out!

True Food is one of my favorite places to eat. It is one of the only restaurants to try to ensure all of its ingredients are as natural and healthy as possible. They recently substituted (very toxic) vegetable oil with avocado and olive oil. I wish more places stopped using vegetable oil. True Food also has a fun and eclectic menu with plenty to choose from. You can't go wrong with the grass fed burger or wild salmon. A typical restaurant would serve industrial beef and farmed salmon at the same price.

Busy time but friendly professional service from the hosts and wait staff. The food was as good as the quality of regular times when everyone mom isn't out having Lunch on Mother's Day. Very good- thanks for a pleasant experience!
