Pros: 10/10 location, smack in a touristy district with many notable bars/ cafes down the road. The room is clean and basic and the price is very affordable for a location like this. The adjacent rooftop bar is very popular amongst a young tourist crowd. Cons: You have to climb up 2 steep flights of stairs with your luggage to get to the reception the rooms (on the 3rd floor). There are no lifts. Also, it remains very noisy in the wee hours of the night due to the central location. If you’re a light sleeper, sleep might be compromised.

Awesome location, highly convenient, many bars and cafes in the area. Smack in a vibrant neighbourhood/ part of Phnom Penh. The only drawback is there are steep steps to climb to get to the reception room — there are no lifts, and you have to carry the luggage up yourself. Private rooms are also very basic in amenities, but they are clean. Overall, value for money for the cost per night and location.

U cant review it for something its not. Its a backpacker joint. With a bar. With a bunch of drunks. But really fun nice sweet drunks. Solid 4 stars for sure. Without 37 flights of stairs? 4.5 ; P.s. they have Up Banana hotel very close that is sex tourist-free and really nice in case you want stay near 278 but in a quiet place. Only maybe 2 or 3 minute walk to it.

Can't get a great deal of sleep as it's very loud. Also they ask you to pay a ten dollar deposit for a key and a towel which is not common practice and quite annoying if you're a backpacker. They also told me I didn't pay my deposit which turned in to a drawn out argument. All in all I would not recommend.
