The selection varies from day to day, but you can always expect several protein and veggie dishes to choose from. The “soy jerky” is great. When you go to pay, they will ask if you want “bai” rice . Outside of lunch hours, the soups are very popular with locals, but contains some weird cuts of fake meats that are common in Asia, but might be chewy off putting to westerners. They also have some decent interpretations of Japanese and Chinese dishes. The restaurant is also air conditioned and has WiFi.
I personally do not enjoy fake meat substitutes, and I found the fake meat at this restaurant to be too similar to the real thing for my taste. This, unfortunately, detracted from my overall enjoyment of the meal. I ordered a teriyaki dish, but I found the sauce to be overpoweringly heavy on anise flavor. They offer a lunch buffet as well, but I have not yet returned to give it a try. The one positive aspect is that the prices are reasonable.
The restaurant is adorable because some tables allow you to sit on the floor. The dishes are vegetarian and delicious. I ordered fried noodles with veggies for 8000 (2 dollars): not bad at all!
The restaurant is mediocre at best. We tried Khmer cuisine but found it to be unremarkable. Our meal included sweet and sour tofu (approximately 6000 Riel), a soup (10000 Riel), and an udon noodle dish (around 6000 Riel). The menu was not very helpful, with many dishes having similar names and some pages missing from the menu.
Outside of lunch hours, the soups are popular with locals, but they may contain some unusual cuts of fake meat that are common in Asia but may be different for Western palates. The restaurant also offers decent interpretations of Japanese and Chinese cuisine. The restaurant is air-conditioned and has Wi-Fi.
