Wister BYOB - Philadelphia

I absolutely adored the ambiance of this restaurant. The food was outstanding and unlike anything else you can find in the city, which is exactly what I look for in a new dining spot. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The fact that it's BYOB only adds to the convenience. I have been recommending this restaurant to everyone and I will definitely be returning time and time again, especially with the promise of a changing and upgrading menu. Well done to the team, keep up the great work and best of luck!

Nice ambience in this 'Old City ' restaurant with exposed brick wall and white subway tile combination. A small selection but nice variety of items on the menu makes for an easy and quick selection. There are a few vegetarian items available and our server informed us the chef could accommodate us if we did not like the selection offered. Very friendly and efficient staff. It 's a BYOB.

Fourth trip to Wister BYOB over the last year. All excellent dinners. The price points are very fair--couple that with BYO, 10% discount if you pay with cash, good service and very good first, second and dessert selections. Always a good variety of meat, seafoods and vegetarian to accommodate all palates. Still operating a bit under the radar, which can be a good thing, in not having to book a table far in advance.

The scallop appetizer was perhaps the best thing I've ever eaten. Our waiter Jerry was awesome!

Wister is the perfect byo for a night out with friends or family. The food is excellent and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The space is very cozy with dimly lit lighting and exposed brick walls. Loved it and will definitely be back!
