Tres Jalapeños - Philadelphia

I ordered from DoorDash for the first time, and I was impressed by how quickly the food was delivered! The green enchiladas platter was packed with flavor and arrived hot. It was absolutely delicious! Great job, Tres Jalapeños!

The food here is outstanding! The chimichanga platter is exceptional, and all the taco salads are delicious.

Additionally, since they don't use DoorDash drivers, you cannot cancel your order through the DoorDash app. About two hours after I placed my order, the status updated to say my food had been delivered, which was simply untrue. After several attempts, I finally reached someone at Tres after about 10 minutes of repeated calls. When I spoke to the employee, he contacted the delivery driver on my behalf, who admitted that my food was lost. Despite the situation, he offered no compensation for the poor service I experienced. In conclusion, don’t rely on the estimated delivery times they provide on DoorDash, and be prepared with an alternative meal option, as you may end up without your order.

Please for the love of god dont go here. this place made me wait for an hour and a half for my food when it said it would be there in 30. and for the last like 45 minutes it said the delivery driver would be here in 2 minutes and then suddenly it said it was delivered. gave them like 5 more minutes and nothing happened so I called, no answer. called again got an answer from a dude who then proceeded to call the driver while i was still on the phone and i had to listen to their conversation. he then proceeded to tell me the driver would be there in 4 minutes. he spoiler: he was not. they didnt apologize or try to rectify the situation or anything. over ten minutes later he showed up with the food. mind you, all i ordered was enchiladas. thats it. i get the food and say maybe the food will be good but no, it is cold, and solid. it was so bad that my friend who tried it looked at me and put his hand on my shoulder and gave me a remarkably heartfelt "sorry". it was just taco bell sauce on top of tortilla. when I cut open the enchiladas it was so unheated that i could still see the layers of cheese inside where they clearly folded up a slice of cheese and shoved it in. I beg you, go anywhere else yes even taco bell would he better. an hour and a half for unmelted cheese enchiladas with tomato sauce on top for 20 bucks? dont do it.

I visited on a Friday afternoon and found the restaurant completely empty, with only one staff member at the counter. The place was clean and nicely decorated. Our server was friendly and courteous. The chips and salsa that were served first were absolutely delicious and addictive. My boyfriend ordered a steak burrito and claimed it was probably the best burrito he had ever tasted. I ordered the green enchiladas but was disappointed when they arrived cold. While the flavor was decent, I’m sure it would have been much better if it had been served warm.
