I've been eating here for Years. At least twice a week. I hope it reopens. Best corned beef special Ever ??

My original review is below. Changed rating because I find it really inconsiderate that this place seems to have closed permanently (from what I 've heard the proprietor moved out of town and isn 't returning) without a word to long standing customers or even the courtesy of a notice on the door. It 's a shame because the food was very good and reasonable, though the main guy behind the counter was a bit gruff.Always good fresh food here, fast service. Wish they didn 't have a sign on the door for the last month saying they 'd open maybe next week after they 've been closed for a month original sign said they would reopen Jan 10. It 's Feb 6. Anybody know what 's up here? No info on website or at restaurant.

Most under rated deli in Philadelphia. Always great service and very reasonably priced.

Disappointing. Got a combination sandwich and it was bland. The corned beef and pastrami just lacked good flavor.

Two days ago was our first time we went to this place. But It is absolutely not the last time. We had great time with the attentive service, with the fine dishes and fine drinks and with the comfortable pay. We will absolutely return there in a short time.
