I enjoyed the margarita and all the other mixed drinks I tried. The dessert options, especially the chili peanut brittle with chocolate cake and apple bread, were fantastic. I will definitely return, not only for the great food, but also for the excellent service provided by the waitress at East Passyunk. Well done as always.
I had an amazing coffee breakfast at this restaurant, and the service was excellent! The dining experience was classy, with a cool environment and vibe.
I recently dined at a trendy restaurant in East Passyunk that seemed to be looking to break away from the traditional Philadelphia cheesesteak stereotype. The Plenty Cafe caught my eye with their take on the classic sandwich, so I decided to check it out. To my surprise and delight, they also offer alcohol. I was thrilled and found it difficult to contain my excitement. I quickly learned that being overly enthusiastic and talking loudly at the bar can be offensive in such a small cafe. The cheesesteak was delicious, with a unique brownish, tasty coleslaw and a crispy baguette. The portion size was on the smaller side, but still enjoyable. My beer was $8, making for a reasonably priced meal. I would definitely recommend dining here, and I plan to return with my daughter. Also, I must mention that the side salad with their version of coleslaw on top was amazing.
It is a caffe and a bar! they can literally go from morning to dawn on this place just take their haste on what people order to find out what day it is haha! we went to the brunch and I ordered the avocado toast and a court of the house ricotta was ordered for the table. the ordering process is quickly sitting casually. we have spided over the menu and ordered at the theke (where they also have a coffee bar/exception corner) and then we found our own sitting where our food was delivered to us. I think this system works for the room as the opposite is much longer than it is wide. the waiting staff would float more or less about any table if it was a complete service type of the environment. the avocado toast was served on grilled pieces of brot, which each disc has tasted with a healthy dose of avocado spread (avocado, cilantro, grilled mais, pickled wobble and limette). the brot was well made and the avocado mix tasted fresh and savory. I especially liked the plastered onion supplement to create a deeper taste profile and cut the lime element. the ricotta was also pleasant, consisting of grilled apples, pistachios, honey and mint. I found it refreshing and did not really see it as an option. I could taste all ingredients and didn't find it too hard. the part was much for the table. the weather at the beginning was very nice for a february afternoon (70 degrees however, averaged by the meal, nut nature changed gear and brought into the cool wind. the problem is, the windows were left open. I wish the staff didn't let her open as soon as the cold came in. I saw two workers who closed with the outside seats (as it was to remove during the weather change), but nothing was done to keep the cold and comfort in. I should probably have stayed longer and ordered a coffee if he hadn't been cold there unacceptably. overall a pleasant meal and I like the day to night access of the facility. would have appreciated more comfort from the elements, but in any case the experience was much
