Peace A Pie - Philadelphia

Peace a Pie offers the best vegan and gluten-free pizza in Philadelphia! I highly recommend their pizza even for non-vegans because it is just that delicious. The Peace a Plant Pizza is served on a gluten-free crust, which is a rare find for vegan options. Their homemade cheese, crust, and toppings like vegan pepperoni and meatballs are all made from fresh ingredients such as cauliflower, sweet potato, nuts, and black beans. I appreciate that they don't use fake cheese or processed meats, as it tastes much better this way. They even have a separate menu for dogs, showing that they truly care about their furry customers.

This new hotspot in Fishtown has a vegan recipe for pizza and Seitan wings that absolutely die for!!! Only the correct amount of cripples on their wings give them the consistency of the real wings! They are then served in their pineapple Habanero sauce, which is so delicious; it lets you come back for more. The vegan cake is made on a gluten-free sweet potato flat bread and with marinara sauce, vegan cheese and arugula.. with the option for vegan pepperoni or primavera. I thought the pizza was pretty good, but they could add some more variations of vegan cakes to their menu. Enjoyed my slices of pizza from Peace A Pie. The crust is a good texture, and I tried both the Fig Gorganzola slice and the Pepperoni slice. Solid choice for pizza if you want a slice with thicker crust than usual and lots of flavor

I placed an online order and when I arrived to pick it up, the restaurant had no record of it even though I had paid and provided my receipt number. The worker initially said he would make the order, but then changed his mind without apologizing for the mistake. I was not offered a refund or any assistance, and the worker was rude and unhelpful throughout the interaction. It's not unusual for mix-ups to happen, but this worker was particularly unpleasant to deal with.
