We got two whole fish each. They were battered and fried to perfection. The natural juice and lemonade were both delicious. I had some yellow rice and poured some beans over top. I will definitely be back. Thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place!!!!
Fantastic food. Felt like home cooking. Tostones are made fresh. Ropa vieja was just right. Pastelillos were crispy with well seasoned beef. Look forward to going back again.
I eat here a couple times a month. My family is Puerto Rican, so this is a go-to for birthday dinners mother’s/father’s day such. I’m surprised at how many people don’t know about this place. Owner(s) are Dominicans that came to Philly from New York and if you know anything about Latin food in NYC you know it’s top notch. I’m simple and usually just get the arroz amarillo con carne but I tried the shrimp the other night and it was excellent.
Quick service. was empty for brunch on a sunday. think more of a lunch/ dinner place. a bit dark inside. food good. affordable...good prices. latin cuisine near the city.
Food was amazing! I had my go to Dominican Place back in the Bronx, NY. I accidentally stumbled upon this place when visiting the rail park. So glad I found it, I am sure I will be back, and tell all my friends about this place. We love food! AND! They also have an outside eating area that has a rustic look, which I love.
