That is unusual (if not unsettling) for a coffee shop. The coffee/drinks are of mediocre quality because the staff can't keep up with the enormous menu catalog. Guests return for the space and ambience, which is not surprising considering that this is a real estate establishment. Customer service is lukewarm, though some like it hot.
This was my go to spot in Spring Garden and Fairmount. It’s a great place to work because it’s HUGE. Despite that the table and working spaces can fill up fast. But anyway. The coffee is fantastic. The staff pulls a great shot. They’re very friendly. The breakfast sandwiches are also fantastic. They also have an insane tea list which I love. Very good spot.
The food and chai latte was really good. my only problem was from one of the cashiers. The lady that helped me was so so so sweet. I was trying to order a salad but she asked me if I wanted a chicken salad sandwich then I was like hmm I’m not sure). So this lady next to her just gave me the nastiest look and bc of her I won’t bother going back. But, it was decorated really nicely and I really enjoyed what I ordered
The coffee is great, I had a Cappuccino and a Latte Both drinks were made perfect and tasted great. My wife had a Lemonade which again she loved. The service was really good, helpful and friendly. The only disappointment was the bagel, it was very dry and didn’t taste great (we ended up having 2 small bites and leaving it)
Tried this place out as it was recommended as a great coffee shop. I found my experience alright. Staff was not the most welcoming or friendliest, which I typically look for and enjoy at any place.Got a dirty matcha and a make your own breakfast bagel. Came up pricier than I intended for two items $17).Unsure how I truly feel, may check it out again at some point to confirm my thoughts about this cafe
