New Town Deli - Philadelphia

I came here hoping to enjoy a nice breakfast, but it was closed.

I visited one day and ordered a breakfast sandwich, but I mistakenly thought they accepted Apple Pay. When I realized my error, I apologized and prepared to leave, but Maria kindly insisted that I take the food and return to pay later. She was extremely generous, and the food was excellent. A few days later, I returned to settle the bill. I highly recommend New Town for both their delicious food and their genuine kindness!

I visited this restaurant today for breakfast and had the veggie omelette with breakfast potatoes, and it was a wonderful experience. The place has a simple, no-frills diner atmosphere, and the food was delicious, made with real, fresh ingredients. It felt just like having a home-cooked meal at grandma’s house. The server, who is also the owner, was incredibly sweet and friendly! I really appreciated how attentive they were to dietary restrictions, especially for gluten-free options (I have celiac disease).

I am not from Philadelphia but I wanted a Philly cheesesteak. Someone recommended this restaurant to me and they didn’t disappoint! The cheesesteak was so delicious. The best I’ve ever had actually. Ms. Maria has the best customer service ever. I didn’t want to leave!

Amazing food and extremely kind workers! My family and I have been going to this restaurant for many years, and we have never been disappointed! There are various options to try, and I assure you you will never regret trying something new here. My personal favorites are the chicken parm, turkey with gravy, and lamb gyros. Overall a great restaurant facility and very authentic food made with lots of love.
