Ken Shin Asian Diner - Philadelphia

I was extremely disappointed with my Pad Thai at this restaurant. There was excessive ketchup, pale green peppers, only a few shrimp, and an overwhelming amount of sugar. It was not the comforting dish I was hoping for after a long day off work. The tofu and vegetables had potential, but were also ruined by an excessive amount of sugar and overly fried tofu. Overall, the dish was a huge letdown.

I received a refund for my bubble tea as they were out of it, but the food at KenShin was excellent. I am a big fan of this restaurant and have never had a disappointing meal there.

The food was average. The lo mein was not great, it tasted like it was made with spaghetti noodles and lacked flavor. The dumplings were decent. I don't think I would order from this restaurant again.

The Asian fusion food at this restaurant was overpriced and average. The dishes were extremely greasy to the point where it was almost unappetizing. The Kenshin shrimp bowl was not good, as there was something off in the taste. The wings and Kenshin chicken were decent, but the spring rolls were tasty. We opted for takeout as there was no dine-in service, but the online ordering portal was user-friendly and the staff was very pleasant. Overall, I wish we had a better experience, but unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.
