Gyu-kaku Japanese Bbq - Philadelphia

- I love this place. the pandemic brought out the worst. when they order, eating comes completely frozen. we tried to dive in and were rudely turned off at the door. “We don’t take walk-ins anymore.” the place was 1/3 full. even if they need to make a reservation, maybe be hospitable? honestly, this restaurant refutes me now.

Terrible scam! They have listed that they have doordash and we have ordered them. When we called, they said they had no turdash and we were charged $100 for our meal and got no food. the restaurant said they could not do anything about it, although they list doordash on their website. I will never get food from them again.

I knew this restaurant when I visited chicago, and I repeat every time I was there and only knows they are in my city. I am excited yesterday and you eat is always excellent, but the service was bad. I have to repeat the order several times. I understand that they shorten the personal, but the service still needs to improve the great time, and the restaurant is very smokey.

Was excited to dinner, came in, was sitting. looked down at the table and it was not cleaned. no problem that we thought they missed it, asked to delete it. ordered for two and cutlery came along with miso suppe. there was a spoon in the bowl-girlfriend saw that there was a little dirty, thought watermark might have been. she scratched the spoon and something flew off. then the handle of the spoon was sticky. there were two spoons glued together in a thick brown gunk! the spoons beat, told the waitress, then we left. if the restaurant does not care to check the cutlery, they do not give the customer how their kitchen is. I hope I'm wrong and they're better, but we'll never return.

The food was delicious however the services was really bad. It's took over to hours for us to get our food and it comes to you raw so we didn't understand why the wait was so long . We ordered a kids meal for my 4 year old niece(chicken and rice) that didn't come for over 2 hours after we asked for it multiple times. Even after speaking to the manager it still didn't come. Great food but they need to work on their service.
