Green Eggs Cafe - Philadelphia

I have chosen my man here for the first time with our small child for the early vatertag breakfast. we sat in and gave drinks. we were very satisfied with the service, as it was almost a complete house. eating is definitely worth waiting! if you want to eat fast, there are many chain restaurants for it, but quality like this is hard to come. the server were very friendly and you even said if everything that the information is needed, they can all work together and accommodate us. I had the eier benedict 10/10, my man red velvet pancake 10/10, our son had the short stack with zimtapfel 10:10. we had also not depicted the sweet kartoffel on zimt filled empanadas, but young were they slammin! ty green eier caffe. you made it a wonderful experience for me and my family. all this, while a period for the work after. we arrived at 10:10 at 11:30. they have an access to the ramp and high chairs available.

I’ve heard that the food is really good here so we decided to stop for breakfast. Mask are required Cash only-ATM inside They do make cocktails (wasn’t able to try one) Staff was very nice, understanding and pleasant. We ordered our meal and then received an emergency call and had to cancel our order. Our server was completely understanding about the situation, canceled our order and provided me with a to go cup and put fresh apple juice in it for me to take with me. We asked if we owed anything and was informed that we were good. We quickly returned and sat in the same spot and our server looked at us and confirmed that we would be ordering the same thing as earlier and quickly brought out our meals when done. That shrimp and grits was really good. The grits had flavor/taste to them. I didn’t need to add any salt, pepper, hot sauce or ketchup to the meal. Eggs were scrambled and went well with the complete meal. This was a lot of food for me, I definitely could’ve shared. My co-worker wanted pancakes but was told that they were out so he instead ordered the French toast and killed them quickly. He said they were good. He decided on plain French toast but kept mentioning how good the others sounded and they did sound tasty. Pineapple upside down French toast is something I’m going to have to try next time.

I been here a few times and the empanadas were so delicious. The service is always great and you’re able to get a seat immediately. I think the chicken and waffles use to be different before pandemic I don’t remember chicken tenders but yea it’s a good spot for brunch.

Be prepared to wait. We arrived and was told there was a 20-30 minute wait. We waited an hour and a half. The food is good, and they have good drink options. Just be prepared to wait so pack your patience. There's also limited parking and you can't wait inside. I rated them a four instead of 3 because my daughters steak was burnt and there was hair in her fruit.

First time at this location. I've visited the 18th street location few times in the past and took the opportunity to check this one out. Unfortunately, I was really disappointed. I ordered the lemon blueberry French toast, from the specials of the day list. Honestly, it felt like the specials (which you cannot make any changes to) are just sitting on the side waiting to be plated. As you can see from the picture I only made it half way through my meal, and I was hungry! I didn't grab a before picture but the while plate looked very nice. However, all of the food was room temperature??? I mean our table was right next to the kitchen....technically all the tables were right next to the kitchen. The staff was really nice and the decor of the location was very pleasing. Based on visits at the 18th street location, I had really high expectations but sadly they weren't met....
