Common Wealth Old City - Philadelphia

This restaurant is fantastic. It is very cozy and inviting. The manager, Jen, and the bartender, Joe, are both excellent at their jobs. Joe makes an amazing Hendricks cocktail with fresh muddled cucumber. It's a friendly place to dine. If you are staying at the nearby Wyndham hotel, I highly recommend skipping the other restaurants on Market Street and trying out Common Wealth. The short rib dish is incredible and their burger is one of the best in the city. Their low country cooking has a subtle yet authentic flair. The oysters are delicious as well. It's a great place to enjoy before heading to Harry's on 3rd for a cigar. Give Common Wealth a try, you won't be disappointed.

The food and atmosphere at this restaurant were excellent! They were very accommodating when we came in with our infant. The oyster mushroom ravioli was absolutely delicious!

The staff at this restaurant is amazing. Quez made some great recommendations that turned out to be spot on. He provided excellent customer service as our server. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the grits with mushrooms were, and the chicken gumbo was fantastic. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

Great atmosphere, great food and great friends. Our waiter Mike was the awesome. He remembered everyone's name, he was on point at all times. Professional and friendly! Everyone was so attentive....Eli, the bar made, everyone played their part.

Charming quaint. Perfect seat by the window. Our waiter was on point and food was tasty. An interesting selection definitely recommended.
