Byblos Restaurant Bar - Philadelphia

The service is some of the worst I ever encountered. The waitress alone made my experience my last at this establishment. Hookah trash. Service trash. Music trash. Everything trash. They add fees that they want even after you get the bill. Avoid!

Stayed at a hotel nearby, looking for food late at night. Ordered 2 chicken Caesar salads for $52. Got there to pick up and had to wait in the street because of the $20 cover charge. Told them we were there but they must not have informed the kitchen- finally had to call and ask for our food to be brought outside. Wouldn't have ordered here if we'd known all the hoops we had to jump thru to get our food.

I wish I could give 0 stars!!! We paid $10 to get in?? we walked in and walked right back out. We thought it had a rooftop but it was actually next door. So we left abs asked for our cover charge back, because we wasn?t even there for 1min. The security guy told us no he was not not giving us back our $10 we spoke with the owner who told us no as well. We told him we made a mistake thinking that they had a rooftop we wasn?t there for a minute. He told us no and assumed we knew that this was the wrong place like we were lying. Do not treat people out their money like that!! It?s too many other bars downtown with no cover charges and better vibes??. The other review also say they nickel and dime you!!!! They really do and rip people off!!

For the first time, I tried their Greek salad with grilled chicken kabob, and it was absolutely delicious! It was packed with flavor, featuring fresh onions, olives, green peppers, tomatoes, and feta cheese. My date ordered a grilled Caesar salad, which was also tasty—I got to sample it too! We decided to skip drinks since the hookah was more than enough to satisfy us. The atmosphere was lovely and intimate, with a great selection of music that appealed to both old and new school tastes. Customer service was excellent; thanks to Destiny for her warm hospitality! I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a fun time. It wasn't too crowded when we arrived, but the crowd definitely picked up later on. I’ll definitely keep coming back; this is my go-to place!

The atmosphere is nice and trendy. However, they tend to charge for every little thing, including a fee for using credit cards. Drinks are pricey, but that's expected in the City Center. They primarily play trap and rap music, although a lot of it seems to be from lesser-known tracks. I do appreciate the tight security at the venue. Unfortunately, the bathrooms are often in rough shape and not very clean. While the hookah flavors are enjoyable, they don’t last very long. We also had to pay a $10 cover charge at 6 PM on a Saturday. The wings here are excellent! However, we're still searching for a new hookah spot.
