Bridgid's - Philadelphia

Really delicious food in a lively environment. It's a narrow space but still was not too crowded somewhat early on a Saturday night. Everything we had was amazing highly recommended!

I've always loved Brigid's...a neighbourhood gem. It's under new management now, and I wish them all the best.

Great little neighborhood bistro. Greeting by the hostess was a bit reserved. Server was attentive but left us alone. Really good short rib in a ridiculously rich gravy. Cocktails were decent. Will be back.

This was the middle of the summer so it was not crowded when we walked in. I had made reservations but they were not necessary. I have to admit the food that we ordered was not the greatest. We were on a first date so we were not that interested in the food. Waiters were nice and I have been here years ago and it was very nice when it’s more crowded.

My wife and I took my son his wife to the newly reopened Bridgids. It was a FABULOUS experience. First I had a blackberry flavored cocktails that we sublimely refreshing. I had escargot for an appetizer. They were shelled cooked with oil garlic. YUUMMMM! For an entree I had fresh barramundi, a soft flaky white fish with leaks. AWESOME! Desert was carrot cake. FANTASTIC! Downstairs a guitarist was singing soft oldies that included Van Morrison, Simon Garfunkel and Herman’s Hermits. He was just great. As I walked out I couldn’t help chiming in with a background vocal if “Mrs. Brown (you’ve got a lovely daughter)”. I highly recommend this wonderful old/new establishment.
