Bonchon University City - Philadelphia

The staff is very friendly and this is a plus for me. the cola from the fountain was flat, and the waiter liked to change it into a bottle. the huh was crispy! if they like super crispy skin, this place is for them. the chicken in brot. I don't know if they bake it, then roast it, cuz the inner is tender and juicy. Flavours are very subtle. Cream sauce on the chicken was sweet and not too garlicky, so good taste! but I wish they had more sauce on the chicken and more season. for my personal preference it only needs more. the spicy was not spicy enough for my taste buds. it was mild Arta spicy. I'm looking forward to tasting more food here. the reason why I had three stars: there was not enough sauce. second, the french ice cold were served. will I have come back? Yes, I would, but I would ask to steam hot food from the kitchen, and would try the chicken strips instead of the wings and drumsticks.

Perfect place to have for a night snack or late night dinner if you love fried chicken!! The batter was not too thick but crispy enough to satisfy your craving for fried chicken. I highly recommend their fried chicken with the sauce on because it's sweet spicy, which is the perfect combo! I only recommend to try their fried chicken dishes, but not their other dishes (like bao buns). They were okay, not too outstanding, and you can find better places than here.

I normally really like bonchon. I've been going for years, but this location has been inconsistent with their quality. I ordered wings, half soy half spicy and as the picture shows they didn't have any sauce for either flavor. You can also see that the wings were also way overcooked and dry.

I despise the online ordering experience but the chicken made it that much worse. So so so so dry. The teokbokki was also slightly sweet which was strange. Not worth the convenient location. I’d much rather go to a different Korean chicken place that’s a lot further.

This is unacceptable. Paying almost 40 dollars for wings and this is the outcome. Dry, no sauce and the presentation is horrible. This is the second time and unfortunately I will not be ordering or eating at this restaurant again
