Barcade - Philadelphia

What a delightful place! The atmosphere is lively, and the menu is outstanding. I highly recommend the tacos; we ordered two batches along with some deviled eggs. We also enjoyed three amazing Bloody Marys, which I must say were the best I’ve had in Philadelphia since I moved here in 2018. We’ll definitely be returning, especially so I can try to beat my high score on Willy Wonka. Yes, even at 68, I’m still a Pinball Wizardess!

This place is an absolute blast! It was a bit humid and sticky, with a slight odor, but filled with laughter and excited shouts as people enjoyed drinks and played games. The food is typical bar fare, and the prices are quite reasonable. Just a heads-up: you'll need to purchase tokens for the arcade games since they don’t accept quarters! There's a wide selection of drinks available, along with daily specials. If you enjoy good beer and retro arcade games, this is the spot for you!

We drove 5hrs to see a show at the theater down the street. We arrived over an hrs early before doors opened, and found this little spot to hang out at. Loved this place, it was the highlight of our trip! If we ever come back to Philly we'll definitely be stopping back in at this place.

This arcade offers excellent value for your money! Most of the games cost just 2-3 tokens per person. My friend and I spent $11 on tokens and enjoyed nearly 2 hours of fun. Some games provided three times the playtime of others. It wasn't crowded at all on Sunday night. While we didn't try any food, the drinks were great, and the female bartender was very friendly.

Great staff and games,though mostly likend to an overcrowded,cramped college dorm party. Very difficult to move around in much less use the bathrooms promptly because at times takes a half hour just to get that out of the way to get situated at a game,or the bar etc. Again great company and effort. Probably needs at least two extra bathrooms Maybe.
