Przekaż informację zwrotnąI lived in Philly all my life. I worked in Center City since Chestnut street was cobblestone and The Liberty Place was a Movie Theater and when Arcades Movie Theaters were all over Downtown Philly. I used to attend Sweat Gym that used to be in the old YMCA building next to this establishment, before it even occupied this space and when MC Donald 's was on the opposite corner. I am all Philly and I know what 's good and what 's not so good. So, today was my first time ever going inside this establishment and I regret it 100%. Don 't let the colors and banners fool you and the fact that it 's surrounded by new and historic Philadelphia buildings. First off some of the employees behind the counter look like recovering meth heads. For it to be located in a tourist area, the banners and color are very attractive. Minus the homeless woman making the sheltered bus stop her home, which is directly in front of this place, the colors are an eye catcher. The owner 's could do a better job at cleanup more often during the lunch rush, since a mess could easily be made by customers in-with seconds. Honestly I don 't think they do too much focusing on cleaning, period. But they have a large selection of garment pizzas to choose from.Upon my entering, I notice a diverse crowd of patrons. I couldn 't tell if they were Philadelphians or tourist, but if I had to put money on it, a lot of the young ones were. So I step to the counter and Hispanic guy behind the counter (I supposed he was the cashier) was very enthusiastic. He told me what the lunch specials were without me even asking. The specials were mainly pasta dishes. So I ordered one (Shrimp Scampi) to go. It was quick, extremely hot and the Hispanic guy even bought it out to me as I sat and waited for my number to be called. He smiled with my packaged dish in-hand and said, Here you are sir, your Shrimp Scampi . I said, thank you and left.I got back to work and my dish was still piping hot. It smelled pretty good. I prayed over it and ate. Afterwards, well, I didn 't feel too great. I thought of it being a number of reasons. Maybe the shrimp was bad, maybe it was the weather, because it was 95 degrees outside or maybe the person woo, prepared it, wasn 't cleaning the dishes and utensils properly. But, I finally figured out why my stomach was doing so many flips, The dish was drowning in butter. There was so much butter left in the bowl that I didn 't even what to eat the remaining pasta noodles floating in it.I honestly can 't say, the food itself made me sick, but I do know it was all that darn butter. A person could have a heart attack if they aren 't careful.Overall, my experience was So-So. I gave them one star for the food I ate only. But my overall experience wasn 't bad. I have been to Hole in the wall places with very good customer service and the food was good. So, appearance isn 't everything, it 's the experience that brings a customer back. With that being said, I will return and this time, I will just stick with pizza. I might try a cheese steak, but that may take me some time to work up the nerve. (I 'm from Philly, cheese steaks are made on every corner and every corner says theirs are the best) But, Thank you Aldo Manny, I 'll be back for a slice.
One of the best slices of pizza we have had! My family and I were visiting from Ohio. We spotted Aldo Manny as we were sightseeing and have it a try. The inside is small, maybe 8-10 tables. Jen waited on us and she was so friendly. The service was fast. This was the best Margarita pizza I have ever had. The slices are huge. My 10 year old said he wished he had ordered a second slice! Please visit if you have a chance. The menu offers a big selection of food if you don’t want pizza.
This is everything I want from a quick by-the-slice spot. Their custom/specialty pizzas are fun and flavorful, but mostly love the staff I interacted with! Is it fine dining? No, but that's not what they're supposed to be. It's a pizza spot near CC.I got slices to go and opted to heat them in our oven at home. It was the end of the night so the selection was limited, but overall the flavor was good and the slices were brought back to life with a little heat. I consider them a decent value based on the quality and location. They have some outdoor patio tables which are convenient if your eating a slice before you hop on the bus (there's a stop right outside of the shop). I see plenty of groups sitting in/outside whenever I walk by.Definitely will be back cause it's a convenient spot on my way to/from home!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian pizza options available. Uncertain about vegan.Kid-friendliness: Kid-friendly menu if they like pizza!Parking: Limited parking. There is a bus stop directly out front.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a slight incline/lip to the front door's transition.Dietary restrictions: Notify staff of any dietary restrictions, as they use the same ovens/prep area.
Yummy pizza, pasta and Italian hoagie. The staff is amazing, super helpful and fast service
Good place to have a fast food. The pizzas are delicious. I this different one with beef, cheese and peppers. the people who work there are very attentive, and that makes even the food better.Food: 5/5
