I must say that it tastes super good, better than any other restaurant around khao lak. the chef seems to have a high know-how in cooking. we also have a nice salad from the chef for free. prices are very cheap. we are so sad that we found this restaurant very late in our holidays. could have tasted more!
Food was interesting and yummy, different from the regular fare. A MUST try is the grape seaweed. It is grown locally on Blue, the owner's farm. He discovered it and Japan and his wife put a local twist on the dish. Great hospitality, Blue gave us a lift back to the hotel when they couldnt book a taxi for us.
Very nice local food with great prices. Would recommend the crab.
We came here in December after travelling a long way but was sad to find the restaurant closed despite the website stating it was open. We were told they are not open again till May. Would be keen to try again the next time we visit Khao Lak, but please can owners change the website to state the current opening hours.
Fantastic local cuisine cooked by an expert cook. the green caviar-som-tum is its signature language. we even got a free appetizer. the crispy soft shell crab and the damped fish were delicious. something outside the capital, but definitiw the commute worth.
