Earl Thai - Phak Hai

Really love this place. Cheap, delicious and with friendly service. Not a ton of vegetarian options but there are a few.

Good food at reasonable prices. 3dishes, one fried rice, one plain white rice and 3drinks came up to 450THB. Efficient service.

The food is quite average (the red curry was too watery, Tom Yum good but had better). But have to lower the rating because the toilet was full of flies and did not appear super clean. l eat a lot of street food and don’t really get put off easily, sadly don’t think it’s as good of a restaurant as Lonely Planet states.

Food wasn’t great but that’s the least of it. The restaurant was dirty, it smelled and was filled with mosquitoes... to top it all we saw a mouse, the owner didn’t even apologize and he was upset when we left.

Very lovely restaurant with a good selection of tasty vegetarian meals too. Nice vintage style decor and friendly staff
