The Crossings - Pewaukee

I'll say this place could use improvements. I don't know if it was the cooks or the waitresses. It seemed to be a mess, and it wasn't busy when we went. The bacon was cold, and I had to ask for jelly, butter, and syrup... clearly, it should have been given when the food came out. Not to mention mine came out before the others' meals, and we waited another 5 mins for that, and it was still missing pancakes. We had to wait longer for those as well. As far as the taste in the food, it was all very bland. Nobody smiled and was just an overall not an inviting place to be, maybe to regulars but not to new people. Also, somehow, when the waitress brought us our bill... it was added incorrectly and was double the amount than what we got. We brought it up to her, and she fixed it, but that would be quite a mix-up for someone who wasn't paying attention. Anyways, good luck.

Solid diner food. Wouldn't say its the best breakfast spot but if you happen to be in the area and don't have an alternative its an okay spot for some good food.

They have the best breakfast out there!! The owner is a wonderful gal!!!

Very enjoyable breakfast experience! The pancakes (regular and blueberry) were very good. The grilled English muffin was cooked perfectly. The hash browns were crispy and the over easy eggs were on point. The corned beef hash skillet has deli-corned beef rather than a house-cooked corned beef roast though. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time.

First time at this place. Glad I went because their food is delicious. Nice loft-style restaurant with great staff. Will be back!
