Pensiunea Dacii Liberi - Petrova

EN: Breakfast: 4 out of the 5 days we were there, breakfast was served on a buffet and there were many delicious options. We were impressed by the fruit syrups that were great choices, instead of the "natural" box juice we found in... other hotels. Of course there were many traditional Romanian dishes. One morning the à la carte breakfast was served and we could choose from 5 breakfast options: the portions were large enough and also delicious (there are 2 options in my pictures). I would also like to mention that we were the last breakfast every day (breakfast was available between 8:30 and 10:30) and there was enough food on the buffet. Restaurant (cellar): We ate every dinner at the hotel restaurant while we were there and the food was really delicious, although there were a few dishes in the menu, servings were big and we didn't wait long until the food is ready. The beverage menu is very complex and has many options, but they do not have lemonade or pumpkin coffee (it was in season) RO: Mic dejun: in 4 Din Cel 5 zile, micul dejun a fost de bufet, foarte variat si bun. At fost placut impresionati de siropurile din fructe, in loc de suc natural la cutie ca la old hoteluri. Bineinteles, erau si multe preparations traditione. Intr una dintre dimineti, micul dejun a fost a la carte: am avut de ales dintre 5 variante cu portii mari, suficiente si la fel delicioase (in poze regasiti 2 variants). Deasemenea, mentionez ca in fiecare zi veneam cam ultimii la micul dejun (8:30 10:30) si era mancare suficienta pe bufet. Restaurant (crama): Am mancat in fiecare zi la restaurantul pensiunii si mancarea a fost foarte buna, desi putine variants in meniu, portiile au fost mari si servirea prompta. Meniul debauuri este foarte complex si variat, dar limonada si cafea cu dovleac (de sezon) nu aveau/nu faceau in acel moment Totusi dorim sa multumim in mod special pentru afinata scoasa special pentru noi in prima degustare pe anul acesta!

Sooo delicious! Is a must try (their food) when you are in the area! We had meatballs soup (ciorba de perisoare) and pork ribs. It was just delicious!

Had to wait for more than an hour for the food without any explanation or apology. When asked, the waiter said it was not her fault and left. When it finally came after 70 minutes, the food was not very good either. I did not...use any other facilities but from what I saw I would not recommend the restaurant or the accommodation to anyone.

Probably one of the best places to eat in the area. Menu selection not extensive, but try to offer a local taste. The service is average as some employees and waiters are not really qualified for their jobs. Average price for an international traveler, but at the very high end for the area.

I would like to begin with the fact that the manager of here was very nice to help us with a need before we were also sure we took this vase, so many tanks for the manager. When we arrived here, we were... welcome to the beatifull Gate in Maramures style, a gate that can easily be composed with a monument of the Arhitecture. The rooms are very clean, confy and nicely furnished. The staff from the hotel was very friendly and willing to complete our needs. I just want to tell you about the food that it was so good I even dreamed about the taste of it at night. The breackfast was so delicios and varios and they even breackfast to go when u are in a hurry. The spa its amazing for this area, it has clean and large pool, jacuzzi, sauna, even a salted lake ,unbeliveble woow salted lake under the spa complex!!! All the location is perfect for visiting the main points of the Interes in this area such as Barsana Monastery, Happy Cemetery and Sapanta Monastery, the waterfall of horses in Borsa and the amazing “Mocanita” of Viseul de sus So in the end I can only come back and this place for everyone. It's like a DREAM
