Byron Burger - Petrolina de Goiás

Went to the Byron on Edinburgh's royal mile and was the best burger place I have probably ever been too! Food was amazing ever since the starter I was amazed and their Christmas menu was brilliant given the few items on there. Customer service was great and staff were very friendly, would recommend to everyone to go to Byron. Mince pie milkshake was the best milkshake ever, actually tastes like a mince pie! 10/10 in my opinion

I posted this on google, with a response they'd make this right. Since then I've been ignored, no acknowledgement of my email and offering to make this right when things return to normal. Just silence on their end. REVIEW OF BYRON KINGSTON: Came in at the end of Jan, as it was my partner's birthday, and Byron is one of his favourite places. To say this branch has gone downhill is a bit of an understatement. We ordered, told there's no icecream for certain milkshakes and only strawberry and chocolate were available. Fair enough, it happens. Then told there's no sweet potato fries. Okay. Then the poor waitress had to come back and tell us there was only enough for 1 chocolate milkshake. It seems whoever is running stock of this restaurant doesn't care to make sure they have enough in. Order arrived, nachos were stone cold and stale tasting (we'd ordered them in the past and they were lovely then, not this time). My partner ordered a burger with an extra patty, both done medium, and one was way overcooked. Burgers were only really slightly warm also. I had to ask for more cheese on my cheesy fries as there was hardly any on and when it came back the cheese was freezing. Talking of freezing, the place suddenly became so cold and we had to put coats on. I guess no one wants to pay for heating? After looking at reviews it looks like, despite saying the information will be passed on in response to negative reviews, nothing has changed, as many low star reviews posted a year ago has similar experiences to ours. Such a shame. Kudos to our waitress though, she was lovely despite the issues.

I have just had food poisoning as a result of eating a byrons burger, and their cheeky customer service tried to blame it on NANDOS ?
