Tres Amigos - Petrodvorets

If you like latin food like tacos, burritos etc...this is the place to go. Sizzeling tasty chicken, meaty nachos or fried vegetables...all for a just as sweet price. Right on the best restaurant street!

I grew up in Southern California where mexican food is just called food . It 's the one thing I miss most living in Sweden (Swedes just cannot do good Mexican food). Tres Amigos was recommended to us by our hotel and we were not let down. The atmosphere is great, and like many Russian family restaurants, they have a children 's play room which our 1 year old daughter loved. My wife had a Chimichunga and I had a burrito and they were fantastic. As authentic Mexican tasting as I have had outside of SoCal/Texas. Large portions for a very good price. Staff is courteous and friendly and while not all were fluent in English, they made an effort to make sure the ones who were served us. We enjoyed Tres Amigos so much we returned on our next trip (one of only 2 places we did). Highest recommendation!

We went to Tres Amigos with great expectations of finding great vegetarian food while in Russia and it was quite a delight, not a very high end vibe but lively live singer great) our drink the Sangrita above average) and out fajitas were outstanding, great find in at Petersburg.

The suprise was an excellent pork burrito with a spicy green sauce reminicent of chile verde sauce available in the Denver's best Mexican restaurants. The service was a little slow but well worth the wait as the mariachi singers were excellent and the beer was cold.
