Burdey's Cafe - Peterson

While down in SE Minnesota visiting my brother, we decided to have breakfast at Burdy 's. My dad was a frequent customer there, and they named a skillet breakfast after him, Howard 's Mess . We stopped in here for lunch on a road trip across MN. The food was really good. My bf got a burger and I got the black bean burger and both were very tasty. I think what really made it a good experience though was our waitress; I didn't get her name but she had a really spirited personality. I'd recommend for lunch--food was good, decor not so much--but that's ok. Food: 5

Food was okay. But if I'm spending the kind of money I did I expect a plate that has more than a pinch of fries. Really disappointed with how downhill this place has gone. It use to be my favorite stop. Unfortunately I've made my last stop there. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
