So this is how we(husband/me) ended up at Quabbin Woods Restaurant this morning for breakfast. In the last 3-4 months I have had to go to UMASS Memorial Hospital numerous times. Not for myself of course. Anyways, If I can avoid highway driving, I will grasp at an alternative way. Guess what. You can go a backroad kinda of way to get there (umass) in case you forgot. I would see the restaurant, think to myself. Have to go there sometime. Today was the day. We arrived a little early. New it was a good choice before even going in. Numerous cars pulled in while we waited for them to open. Needless to say I 'm sorry I/we waited so long . The service(waitresses-Danielle and Kyla) were both very friendly and greeted us when we came through the door. Compliments to the chefs/cooks. My Irish Benedict . Prices are reasonable,portions are generous. If you 've driven by numerous times saying to yourself I have to try that place like I did. Do it now. You won 't be disappointed . Often stop here on our way out to Quabbin Reservoir. Stopped in yesterday for a late breakfast around 11:00am. I love a place that serves breakfast all day. I ordered eggs with bacon and toast with a wonderful homemade herb bread. My mother had the best blueberry pancakes we've ever had... yes I tried a few bites. It's a lovely place, our waitress was fantastic and we always enjoy our visits.

This restaurant is one of our favourites. It’s not just because of the food, which is always fantastic, but because of the staff. Everyone is kind, attentive, friendly, and hard working. We appreciate everything this lovely restaurant and staff provide
