I have not ate at McDonald's since I ate at this waste of timeI got a quater pounder and I woke up the next morning with food poisoning.
This McDonald's has recently been upgraded to a McCafeI have gone here on several occasions.
I was here 3 times while in the area for a few days. While two visits was for coffee only, my last visit was the day I left. I waited at least 5min for someone to take my order. I then waited about 7 minutes for my order. Then I find out they got it entirely wrong. I had to wait yet again. AT least the manager was pleasant about it but I'm wondering if they don't train well and/or have a quality control system in place. I'll be back only because it's convenient to where I stay while in town.
This particular location gets orders wrong more times than not. As always, I got an order at drive thru and, yet again it was incorrect. I had ordered 3 Big Macs and 3 McDoubles all being special grill orders, as in ... NO certain condiments, etc. plus double pickles on everything. The orders were exactly the same for the Big Macs and, although different for the McDoubles, all of those were to be the same. How difficult could it have really been to make the SAME for all 3 of each kinds of burgers. For this franchise though, even managing to give you some napkins when you order 6 burgers at drive thru is something they often omit.I complained to Head Office and checked the box on the complaint email to be contacted by a manager from that franchise via email. After receiving the email I ended up speaking to the manager there on the phone. She was by no means anyone I'd want as a manager if I were the franchise owner.She went from being obviously not good with Customer Relations, to rather rude then, outright argumentative. Eventually, I did receive the freebies I felt were an acceptable replacement for their countless mix up over the years, not what she was trying to placate me with.After having worked at McDonald's in my teens decades ago, that and with acquired wisdom over the years about how to deal with such people, I knew that I'd prevail. Either that or, McDonald's head office would hear from me again and they'd end up forking over even more free food than I was expecting to appease me in the first place.Even though I was satisfied with the outcome, the hassle of dealing with that manager aside, I still haven't been back there since and nor do I intend to ever again. There's only so many times they can get orders wrong, have rude managers to deal with (this is over about a 10 year span) before I'll say enough is enough.I have now reached the point of totally boycotting this particular location. I also hope to boycott all of them since they are not a company that is socio-economically friendly. Still waiting for the Big Mac withdrawal to completely dissipate but I'm trying.
