The meal far exceeded our expectations for the evening; ingredients were fresh and flavours were unique. Despite being there for dinner I ordered from the lunch menu, the Tacos Al Pastor, which were filled with pork loin and pineapple. The tangy sweetness of the pineapple greatly complimented the pork and the overall flavour was tasty and delicious. The Enchiladas de Mole were rich and nutty, and portion sizes were perfect. They are accommodating to kids, and service was warm and welcoming. The only drawback was that they ran out of churros for dessert, but I would definitely recommend and go back.
Visited La Hacienda for the first time with my daughter who goes regularly. The atmosphere and food are very authentic. The staff is pleasant and the service was great, even though it was pretty busy. Visited with my husband and daughter who is vegetarian and she absolutely loves the food! She had the ensalada de Nopal and the Soupa Azteca. We had various tacos and loved all of them. The food is fresh and authentic for sure! It does get a little busy so going on off peak times is a good option.
Hi - Fantastic food - far and away the most authentic Mexican place in the area. Go during off-peak hours. Or ensure that you have 1.5 hours for lunch. Service can be hit and miss.Do yourself a favour and branch out from the 'normal' Mexican dishes (ex. fajita, nacho, etc.) because they have some seriously tasty, non 'go-to' dishes. Mole sauce can be bland.
We've been several times and are always satisfied. The food is quite good, flavorful and well-presented. Its busy around dinner time which tells you how popular the place is.
The VERY BEST Margarita I've ever had! If I wasn't drinking I would of had a second...yum yum! The salsa and chips they serve are excellent! Hats off to Sandra, the owner!!
